A vision of primary colors, its high-flying sunshine yellow canopy tops one of the most beautiful playgrounds in the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District.

Giggles and laughter fill the air as campers test the amazingly soft and bouncy resilient surface (made from recycled automobile tires). In moments they bouncewalk, crawl or wheel across it to the play structures. Raising the money, volunteers and in-kind donations to build the $190,000 playground was a labor of love orchestrated by the Tualatin Hills Park Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for individuals and organizations to support the parks, green spaces, and recreation programs of the park district.

Thanks to the generosity of so many, children of all abilities will always be able to play together side-byside at Camp Rivendale.
