Refurbished THPRD Ball Fields & Playgrounds - For Children of all Abilities
Many THPRD playgrounds were designed and installed more than a quarter century ago. We have a unique opportunity to support our children and our neighborhoods by enhancing THPRD's modernization efforts.

We envision a future park district in which nearly every playground is ADA accessible, has a resilient surface to cushion falls, is protected from the sun and rain, and encourages children to use their imaginations, socialize, learn and have fun.

Our next project is a universally accessible field and playground at Cedar Hills Park. The ball field will be specially designed for children and adults with disabilities. It will be the first of its kind in Oregon. The nearby playground will will be the second of its kind in the park district.

We completed the playground at Camp Rivendale in 2006. It was the first playground improvement project of this magnitude to be undertaken by the foundation.  Your support will make it possible for us to enhance our parks one playground, one ball field at a time.

Gifts or Bequests
These may be in the form of money, stocks, bonds, land, memorial structures, sponsored pathways, waterways and nature trails. Memorial donations may be designated for park equipment (play structures, drinking fountains, park tables & benches) as well as sports field development. You may choose any facility within the district.

Matching Gifts
This method goes hand-in-hand with cash gifts and volunteering. Many companies have programs in which they match employees contributions to non-profit funds. It's a great way to double or triple your gift's impact. Contact your human resource department to see if your company has a matching gift program.
